Basics of Hindustani Classical Music for Listeners – Talk by Atul Nene

Atul Nene introduces Hindustani Classical Music in this talk. He explains how Ragas come into being from Swaras and Shrutis. He also explains laya and Taal and structure of compositions. He concludes with the art of appreciating music with tips for listeners. This talk was delivered at Symphony Services office in Pune.

FUDCon Pune 2011 – Keynote by Jared Smith

FUDCon Pune 2011 is in progress in Pune this weekend (4-7th November). The event commenced with a keynote by Jared Smith.
